Secondary Causes of High Blood Pressure

Secondary high blood pressure, otherwise known as immaterial hypertension, often develops as a result of several underlying diseases. It accounts for between five and ten percent of cases of primary high blood pressure and usually begins with high blood pressure. This high blood pressure is often caused by cardiac output or systemic vascular resistance. If you treat these conditions early, you can also complications such as heart failure, kidney failure, stroke, and further down the road.
There are many factors that come into play when it comes to high blood pressure, but it must be understood that it not be a direct factor for high blood pressure. Some of the factors for high blood pressure are obesity, high sodium, birth control, alcohol and drugs, and poor exercise. U.S. experienced an epidemic of obesity, and studies have shown that obesity is an important factor when people are sick with high blood pressure. If you are overweight, doctors recommend that you place your weight to about 15% of your body weight through healthy again. Doctors often recommend exercise as yet a lack of exercise often increases can lead to obesity and high blood pressure.
