Narrowing of the arteries
The ultimate cause of high blood pressure is a simple physical and biological effects.Basically, your arteries narrow.
When this happens, the pressure rises inside the arteries. This is similar to pressing a garden hose to get in faster throughput of water. Unfortunately, this means the higher pressure the arteries a beating, and you can have a lot of problems in the long term health, the worst that have a significantly increased risk for heart attack and stroke get.

Demography

If you are African American, then you are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure to a Caucasian Americans, for example. Another high risk group are people from the Indian subcontinent.
Part of the reason is lifestyle. These ethnic groups are likely to be more animal fat in their diet, to eat, especially saturated fats. For example, a creamy substance ghee together in Indian cuisine. Unfortunately, it’s also consume one of the worst fat you can.
